AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
Kathi Wilson (KathiW@sjhc.london.on.ca) is a graduate of the Midwifery Education Programme at McMaster University and a practicing midwife with Thames Valley Midwives in London, Ontario. She is also Chief of the city-wide Department of Midwifery for London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph's Health Care, London, and Chair of the Hospital Relationships Task Force for the Association of Ontario Midwives. Kathi also sits as the associate midwife member on the Clinical Practice Obstetrics Committee for the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. She has been involved in the midwifery movement in Ontario, both as consumer and, later, as midwife, since 1983.
